BioGuard Arctic Blue Winter Kit is designed to take care of your pool during the months when it's not being used. The kit contains Arctic Blue Algae Protector and Arctic Blue Shock and is designed for pools up to 12,000 - 24,000 gallons depending on kit purchased.

Directions

Arctic Blue Shock

1. Use 1lb of this product for each 6,000 gallons of pool water

2. With the circulation system of the pool running, broadcast the entire dosage into the deep end of the pool.

3. Brush any undissolved product off the surface of the pool with a surface compatible brush

4. Continue to circulate the pool for at least 30 minutes before proceeding to the next step in the winterization process

Note:  It is recommended that as part of the closing procedure, a quality winterizing algicide be applied following the application of this product. After application of the algicide, continue with the closing of the pool as directed by the pool manufacturer. For mesh-covered or non-covered pools, a mid-winter treatment may be required using an appropriate BioGuard sanitizer

Arctic Blue Algae Protector

1. Apply a BioGuard shock or oxidizer per label directions

2. Allow to circulate for 2-4 hours

3. Then pour this product into the pool around its edges with the pool circulation system operating

4. Add 16 fl oz of BioGuard Arctic Blue Algae Protector for each 12,000 gallons of pool water

5. Circulate pool water for 1 hr. Then, clean filter and pool walls at water line. 

Note:  Do not use in pools sanitized with biguanides or pools treated with hydrogen peroxide. In use dilution, this product is non-staining to pool surfaces and equipment.
