BioGuard Arctic Blue Shock is a multipurpose formulation that oxidizes, clarifies, and buffers. This all in one product ensures an easy spring start-up. Quick dissolving, this easy to use product is ideal for all pool surfaces. Its unique formulation results in outstanding water clarity during the winter season and into spring start-up.

Directions For Use

May be used with chlorinated, brominated, ozone and ionization systems. DO NOT use in pools sanitized with biguanides. DO NOT mix this product directly with any other pool chemicals as violent reactions could occur. 

1. Use 1lb of this product for each 6,000 gallons of pool water

2. With the circulation system of the pool running, broadcast the entire dosage into the deep end of the pool

3. Brush any undissolved product off the surface of the pool with a surface compatible brush

4. Continue to circulate the pool for at least 30 minutes before proceeding to the next step in the winterization process

Note:  It is recommended that as part of the closing procedure, a quality winterizing algicide be applied following the application of this product. After application of the algicide, continue with the closing of the pool as directed by the pool manufacturer. For mesh-covered or non-covered pools, a mid-winter treatment may be required using an appropriate BioGuard sanitizer
