BioGuard Oxysheen is a non-chlorine (non-halogenated) shock-oxidizing agent. The regular use of this product will oxidize most of the nitrogenous wastes that accumulate in swimming pool water, reducing the demand on the sanitizer used for disinfection.

Directions

Initial Treatment:  2lb per 10,000 gallons of pool water

Regular Treatment:  1lb per 10,000 gallons of pool water

1. Broadcast the required amount of this product directly into the deep end of the pool with the filtration system running

2. Apply in the morning or evening when no bathers are in the water. Swimming or bathing may be resumed 15 minutes after application

3. Maintain pH in the range of 7.2-7.6, total alkalinity in the range of 125-150ppm or 80-150 ppm for Mineral Springs using customers and calcium hardness in the range of 175-225ppm for vinyl and fiberglass or 200-275ppm for plaster

Note:  This product will reduce false high total chlorine readings for 48 to 72 hours
