BioGuard Optimizer helps create clear swimming pool water and leaves water feeling soft and soothing. BioGuard Optimizer is a great addition to any BioGuard system, including the 3-step system, SoftSwim and saltwater pools.

Initial Start-Up

Before adding BioGuard Optimizer, ensure pool water is properly balanced in addition to cleaning or backwashing your filter.

Add 15lb of BioGuard Optimizer per 10,000 gallons of pool water (1.5lb per 1,000 gallons). Slowly add the Optimizer into your pool skimmer with the pump and circulation system on. Allow your pool water to circulate for 4-8 hours after application. Do not pour BioGuard Optimizer into a skimmer if circulation is not evident in the skimmer. Do not directly combine Optimizer with any other product.
