BioGuard Balance PAK 300 is used to boost the calcium hardness in your swimming pool water. Balance PAK 300 helps prevent corrosion, plaster etching and wrinkling of swimming pool liners. This product dissolves quickly with less cloudiness.

Water Balance Consists of three important parts:

1. pH - a measure on the acidity of swimming pool water

2. Total Alkalinity - a measure of the ability of swimming pool water to resist pH change

3. Calcium Hardness - a measure of dissolved calcium in your swimming pool water

Directions

Calcium Hardness in your swimming pool water should be maintained in the 175-275 ppm range. Never allow calcium hardness to remain below 100ppm. Add directly to your swimming pool water by scattering it over the water surface. Do not pre-dissolve this treatment as heat is generated when this product contacts water. Use a surface-compatible brush to brush any undissolved granules off pool surface. The addition of 4lb of this product per 10,000 gallons of pool water will raise calcium hardness approximately 40 ppm. The addition of 10lbs of this product per 10,000 gallons of pool water will raise calcium hardness approximately 100ppm.
