FreshWater Stain and Scale Defense is designed to control scale formation and staining in spas. Regular application of this product as part of your total spa maintenance program will help keep spa surfaces and plumbing in excellent condition.

Directions

FreshWater Stain and Scale Defense should be added when the spa is initially filled and once per week as a maintenance dose. If there are high metal levels when the spa is initially filled, add the Stain and Scale Defense and wait 24 hours before adding oxidizers such as chlorine, MPS or ozone.

1. Add 2 ounces (4 tablespoons) of FreshWater Stain and Scale Defense for every 500 gallons of spa water to the filter compartment while the jet pumps are running

2. Leave circulating for at least 2 hours. You may use the spa while this product is working. Add only to spa or hot tub water.
