Baquacil Total Calcium Hardness Increaser is used to raise the calcium hardness of swimming pool water. Low calcium hardness may cause the pool water to be corrosive, resulting in corrosion to the pool surface and equipment. Plaster finished pools may be etched or stained if the calcium hardness of the pool water is not properly adjusted. The calcium hardness of pools treated with Baquacil Pool products should be maintained as follows:

Directions For Use:

Generally, 1lb of Calcium Hardness Increaser in 10,000 gallons of pool water will raise hardness by 10ppm.

1. Broadcast Baquacil Calcium Hardness Increaser over the surface of the pool water with the pump running.

2. If a large amount of Baquacil Calcium Hardness Increaser is required (more than 50ppm addition), add in 1/3 increments. Wait 4-6 hours between additions.
